Traditional waste treatment methods have proven inadequate in mitigating theserisks, necessitating the exploration of alternative approaches. This reprint focuses on techniquessuch as bioremediation, phytoremediation, and green technologies that promote sustainable wastemanagement by reducing waste generation and optimizing resource utilization.The Special Issue presented in this reprint comprises 11 articles that delve into various aspectsof waste treatment and provide potential directions for future research.
